Ducati Multistrada 1200 S hadir dengan paket keamanan lengkap yang di beri nama Ducati Safety Pack (DSP) yang merupakan kombinasi dari 9ME multi-calibration cornering ABS dengan Ducati branded 8-levels DTC.
DSP mampu menghasilkan pengereman yang optimal dan mencegah roda belakang terangkat dan mencegah roda terkunci saat melakukan pengereman keras Ketika akan memasuki tikungan tajam.
Multistrada di tenagai mesin Testastretta DVT yang telah mengadopsikan Desmodromic Continuous Variable Valve Timing untuk mengoptimalkan tenaga dan torsi mesin yang maksimal.
Menerapkan rasio kompresi 12.5:1 Multistrada di klaim mampu berlari hingga 320km/h dari hasil pembakaran bahan bakar di mesin 1198.4cc-nya.
